How to initially set Duplex-Mode=Long-edge for real printer?

Post by mattad »

Assume I open a pdf with PDF Xchange Viewer and want to print it out on a real physical (Samsung) printer.
This printer is capable to print duplex mode.

So I click on menu

File-->Print

and select the target printer from drop-down. See the following snapshot:

Unfortunately the drop-down for duplex shows initially always "None".

How can I achieve that here initially as default automatically "Long-Edge" is set?

Hi Matthias,

Thanks for the post - I don't believe that this is possible in the Viewer, as this option is only valid for some printers. I'll ask the Dev. Team, to see if there's any registry key that can set this, but I was not able to find one, in my tests.

Thanks,
