Hi
I am having problems with PDF files that open correctly in Acrobat Reader and some other FREE viewers but come up blank in the latest version of your viewer.
At the bottom of your GUI there is a message flag that says Misaligned Object.
Can you please take a look at the file and let me know what the issue is.

Re: Misaligned Object
Hi Steve,
Thanks for the post and sample - the Viewer has been replaced by the Editor and, while I see the issue in the Viewer, the file renders correctly in the Editor and with no warnings. As such, it is unlikely that this will be fixed in the Viewer. Please download and try the Editor and you should find that this works:

Re: Misaligned Object
Hi Will
Thanks for the fast response.
We have a lot of mutual customers who have your Viewer and our software (EasyCopy) installed and although we appreciate that you would like them to move to the Editor we would still like to see if we can 'tweak' our PDF's to work with Xchange Viewer so if you can give us specific details on why your software says ' Misaligned Object' we may be able to do something.

Re: Misaligned Object
Hello smudger001,
The Viewer is correct - there are really errors in your file that break it. I asked a colleague from the dev team to look at the file and here is what he told me:
There is a missing object (the one with number 3), it is listed in the XRef table as beginning in position 0, which is incorrect. Also there is a reference to object 15 which also does not exists, and is not listed in the XRef table either.
However neither of these errors should prevent the image being displayed, so maybe there is something else that the Viewer can't handle...
But given that the Viewer is now no longer worked on - I doubt we will be trying to fix the Viewer, so please see if you can generate the files properly so that all their references are correct and complete.
Regards,
Stefan
