Hi,
We currently have PDF Xchange viewer installed on our XenApp farm. Due to printing problems (print spooler was crashing) in our ERP, we had to change the driver we are using. We now use the HP Universal printer driver and the print spooler problems in our ERP are solved.
By solving one problem in our ERP, we obviously created a new one when printing PDF files.
A simple PDF doc (10 pages and 80 KB) is generating a spool file of 50 MB. I tried printing as an image but this is generating a spool file of 300 MB!
We have version 2.5 (build 201.0) on our environment and I tested with the newest release (version 2.5 build 316.1) but the spool file size remains.
When I test with Adobe PDF reader, this gives a spool file size of 1 MB...
Is this a known issue or are there any optimizations I can configure?

Welcome to the forums.
The Viewer is discontinued and as such there will be no future fixes and/or updates for it. This product has been replaced by the PDF-XChange Editor.
Please try installing the Editor and check if the spool file generated with it is the regular size.
