Hi,
"Generating Bookmarks From Page Text" seems to have a flaw: the problem is when we use the text content rules "Match Text Case=All Characters Are Capital". The capital letters are not recognized and bookmarks are not created.
To show what's happening, I am sending you one page excerpt text.pdf where you can see there are two capitalized titles with the same font size and font name. The only way you can differentiate those titles from text is by option All Characters Are Capital, but that does not work.
Any ideas?
Best regards,
Slavisa

Re: Generate bookmarks from text / all capitals rule
When testing with your document, it seems to me that the option "Allow multi-line bookmark titles" is causing the problem.
When you uncheck/deactivate this option, then the bookmarks are effectively generated.
It is only a little bit regrettable that the page numbers are having the same format, and so, are also generating bookmarks.
Maybe Tracker software could think about an additional option to not include page numbers?
(in such a case = not to include if all characters are numeric)
Best regards.

Re: Generate bookmarks from text / all capitals rule
Thanks Willy,
You are right, multi-line option produces zero result. That probably means I cannot properly extract multi-line bookmarks from non-English text.
Interestingly enough you mention numbers extracted as bookmarks. Those can be solved with regular expression as "Match text patterns" = [A-Z ]. Even then a few strange patterns like "302 303" passes through text pattern expression.
PDF Xchange has some bugs...
A wiz: how many PDF-Xchange users does it take to work on single PDF-Xchange installation? At least two...
All Regards

Re: Generate bookmarks from text / all capitals rule
Hello slaviŠa neŠiĆ,
I've created a ticket in our internal system so that our developers could investigate and fix this issue:
#3457: Bookmarks Plugin: "Allow multi-line bookmark titles" does not produce bookmarks at all.
We will post here as soon as that is resolved.
Regards,
Stefan
