Hi,
had some trouble using the same viewer for visual comparison of two documents, as there seems to be selectable only one tab at a same time.
With firefox (ff) transforming a tab to a new ff window is possible by simply shifting a tab (to be compared) to the windows taskbar. The shifted tab becomes closed in the original ff window, and subsequently an additional ff window having the closed tab becomes opened.
What do you think about realizing this very helpful feature with the PDF-XChange Viewer?
Create new viewer window via dropping a tab to win taskbar

Re: Create new viewer window via dropping a tab to win taskb
There is no further development from Tracker Software for it's PDF-XChange Viewer.
Their new viewer/editor is called PDF-XChange Editor, and (already) offers the feature that you are looking for.
When opening additional PDF's in the Editor, additional tabs are add. Via drag-and-drop you can drag a tab out of the window to create a new window. There is also a Window > Split functionality that offers you the opportunity to show two documents side by side (horizontally or vertically).
When you do not have a license key for PDF-XChange Editor, then it works like a "free" version. All features are available, but if you are going to use a "pro" feature, then you will get a warning. If you continue, you can fully test how the "pro" feature works, but publicity stamps will be add to your PDF.
You can download PDF-XChange Editor version 5.5 from here:

A new version 6 has been announced to be released within the coming week(s).
This version will have an additional feature for creating PDF forms.
Best regards.
