Re: How to investigate reasons for restricted Editor features ?
Hello Michael_Swinton2,
If a file is created with some of the paid for Adobe products - when opened in a free Adobe Reader - Adobe will allow the user of the free reader to have access to more tools than if this same file with the same features was created by a third party product. This is done in a special way - and if we do not disable some of our tools - you could potentially break the special marker Adobe have placed - and this file will then open in the free Adobe Reader with only basic features available.
As for which features are disabled at our side - any disabled feature would be grayed out - so you just won't be able to use those. This will include e.g. adding/deleting pages, but adding and deleting comments will work.
Regards,
Stefan
