Permanently uninstall PDF X-Change Lite

Every time PDF X-Change Editor free updates itself it also installs PDF X-Change Lite which is of no use to me since Lite watermarks all the files. How do I permanently remove PDF X-Change Lie so that its no longer being installed during upgrades of Editor?

The Editor should be starting our updater tool. In that tool just make sure that you select to only update the Editor (and not Lite along with it) - they should be listed independently in the updater tool's list of installed programs.

Ok so I have to remember to do this each and every update? Is simply deleting the PDF X-Change Lite the best way to uninstall the PDF printer from my system?

Hello Frustrated,

I must apologize here, Stefan's statement, while it should be correct, after further testing does not seem to be quite accurate at the moment. In reality, the Updater should be remembering the settings that you initially had in place from the installer, but it does not. Following that, each product, while they can be installed individually, are not always individual items.

Currently as there is a bug in the handling, the only way to not have the Lite driver installed with the Editor is to uninstall the entire program, then reinstall manually and choose a custom installation each time you update, this will allow you to choose to not install Lite at all. We do not yet have a timeline for a fix, so for the moment, I am afraid that yes, you will need to remember to follow this action with each update if you do not wish to install Lite.
However, as soon as we have resolved this, you will never need to think about it again!
