Purchasing PDF Xchange Pro Plus - No updates if purchased

I am a big fan of PDF Xchange Editor and want to support the software by purchasing it.

However I am not purchasing, since the rules after purchase are ODD...

Once you pay for one version, then you need to pay the same amount to get the next version.

There is no free updates, once you purchase the software...

This was told to me by PDF Xchange support.

Please change this rule. Once a customer pays for the software, you should give him updates for life, or minimium 5 years.

I am not paying for this software, because of this STUPID RULE...

Thanks for the post - I believe that you may have misunderstood our policy here. Updates are free as long as you have active maintenance. One year's maintenance comes free with every license, meaning that you have at least 1 year of updates with every license. Once the maintenance expires, then you would need to purchase an extension on the maintenance at a severely discounted rate. For example, a maintenance extension on an Editor license is approximately $11 (brand new license = $43.50). This will then block your current license key and issue a new one for the latest release, which is then valid for all builds and versions for up to 1 year (unless you purchase a 2 year extension).

Hopefully that clears things up.
