Pop up note - Size / location

Post by amyrose »

Is there a way to standardise the display of comment pop up notes?
I have altered some of the settings for comments and that has improved the display of them just a little.

When I open a document I would like to perform some setting out:
1- Positioned vertically to the nearest sides of the screen
2- Positioned level with it's "anchor" point.
3- Resized to display only the contained text.

Are any of these actions possible within the software by default?
If not, is there an add-on I can purchase that will provide it?
If not, is it possible to (someone could) create an app to provide this functionality by means of coding?

When I open a PDF every pop up note opens large, even when there is no text.

How I need the pop up notes to display so I can read the document.

As you can see if there are over 50 pop ups then closing empty notes and resizing the each of the remainder is time consuming.

Hello Amyrose,

It is possible to reset the note size and location to the defaults, however organizing like this is not available at this time. To reset the note size and location (default position is just over the right edge of the page) simply select the comments in question with the Select comments tool, and the right click and choose "Reset pop-up note location:

I hope this helps!
