Hi All,
New to the software, but I'm trying to add fields to a government form and the form fields do not show up for me, as per the screenshot.
I also noticed, when viewing the fields on the file, that it does show text and check box fields added, but I haven't done any of that. When I try to open in regular pdf, there is not option to fill in the file.
Very confused, as to why I can't add the fields, as per my first screenshot the options are greyed out and non-selectable.
Please help!!
Unable to add form fields to PDF file.

Re: Unable to add form fields to PDF file.
Hello Shre04,
Many forms have security in place to prevent editing, this includes adding new form fields, or modifying existing ones. As the form editing functions are greyed out, it appears that this is one of those documents. Unfortunately it will not be possible to edit this document without unlocking it. If you do not have the required information to do so, we will not be able to assist, you will need to reach out to the creator of the document to ask for an unlocked version.
AS for filling in the existing form fields, this should be possible using the Hand tool, simply click on the field in question to check it or begin inputting text. If this is not possible, please send us a copy of the document to look at directly.
Kind regards,

Re: Unable to add form fields to PDF file.
Thanks for the prompt reply Daniel!
I will try to look for a unlocked version.
I did notice that other pdf documents would not grey out the new form fields, so knew it might have something to do with this document.
Much appreciated!
