cant update - get an error can't find editorv8.x64.msi

Hello, new issue today is an inability to crop pages. It worked fine lastnight until I cropped a page and suddenly could edit the cropped page to expand the crop area. After that it will not crop at all. I've rebooted, I've saved the files, I've edited settings...nothing is working. The program allows me to go through the process then doesn't adhere to the setting to remove the content outside of the cropped area...I tried to update to the most recent version but it said it couldn't:

(an update: I can't uninstall version 333 because it can't find a editorv8.x64.msi file, and I can't install version 336 because it cant find the same file. i searched all files on my laptop, and no such file exists.)

(update #2...the about section says it is still version 333, when i look for downloads it says there are none, when i look at download history it says it downloaded version 336, and when i go into my windows programs both version of 333 and 336 are now installed, and i cant access or use version 336, and version 333 still wont uninstall due to the same missing editorv8.x64.msi file...and the cropping issue remains unresolved)

The 64-bit Editor MSI for 333.0 can be found here: http://www.docu-track.co.uk/builds/8.0. ... V8.x64.msi
If that does not work, you may need a newer or older installer to resolve the issue, in that situation, you can find previous installers for the Editor here: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/versio ... nge-editor

I resolved the uninstalling issue by what is in this link:

and i installed version 336, but i still can't crop pages...so i'll start a thread for that next.

The crop issue is fixed now. I had to reboot, and then it did it?? I guess maybe something from version 333 stayed in place till i rebooted?

Hello Zeph,

Likely that tool missed some files, and it may cause issues in the future if left as is. I would recommend uninstalling all instances of the software entirely, and then reinstalling build 336.0 fresh after a restart, to ensure that any leftover 333.0 files are correctly overwritten and wont be accidentally used by the software.
