"Show info bar" (show/hide info bar at the bottom of pane) - not consistent

Hi support,

I'm using 335 version, so if the next is fixed in the latest version (336/337) please ignore.

There's some issue with the option "Show Info Bar" - for example for Bookmarks (and also Thumbnails, Comments, ...) view.

Let PDFX Editor open documents in multiple tabs, then:

1. Open one document and make the Bookmarks pane visible
1.1. By default the info bar ("x items") will be displayed at the bottom of the pane
2. Open another document (again, info bar visible by default for its Bookmarks pane)
3. For this second document hide the info bar (Options menu in top command pane -> Show Info Bar)
3.1. Info bar gets hidden for current (/second) document
4. Switch to first document
4.1. Note that the info bar is displayed
4.2. But when you open Options menu in top command pane -> Show Info Bar will be unchecked as if the bar is not displayed.

5. Opening the third document - the info bar is hidden by default (as the last state of the info bar visibility is hidden)

So, while it might appear this setting is per document it actually is not.

Thank you for the report, I have managed to reproduce this in 337 and have created a ticket to have it addressed in a future update. I cannot offer a timeline for this fix, so at the moment, the best workaround is of course to click the button twice whenever the issue happens to occur.

This setting should be per pane type - this is fixed now and will be available from the next release.
