Hello, someone insisted that it is possible to attach another file to a pdf, so that it shows an icon and when you click on it, it opens that file in the intended programm. The second file would be embedded in the pdf, so that the result remains the same even when you open it on another computer offline. Like sending an attachment per email.
That's a common thing in Ms Office, you can put for example a pdf file in a word document. I've never seen something like that in a pdf file. Can it be done? If yes, what software would I need for it?
Many thanks if you can help!
Attach files to a pdf like in Ms Word?

Hello bretaincrab3,
This is certainly also possible with the Editor.
Just open a file and use the "Attach a file" icon: However I see you have posted in the PDF Tools section. Is it because you want to automate this process and add attachments to many files?
Kind regards,
Stefan
