Naming of Extracted Pages
It would be useful to be able to set up auto naming, such as "Pages 2-3 from [Big Document Name]" (instead of just naming new tabs with extracted pages "New Document"). This would help when combining multiple extracted pages into a new file, and also when saving them.

HI Matthew,
thanks for the post.
You should already be able to do that with a marcro in the Extract Pages Dialogue: Does that help?

Thanks, yes, I'm aware of that option for _saving_ but if you just extract to a new document, it greys out that area:

Re: Naming of Extracted Pages
Hi, Mathew
Unfortunately that would not be possible when dragging to a new tab, as when doing this, you are not actually saving the file, it cannot have a name if it does not yet exist. Though when saving you do also get to specify the name of the file as you like.
If you need a faster way to create and them open files, while autonaming them and still simply dragging thumbnails. Instead of dragging the thumbnail to a new Editor window, drag them to your desktop, or the location you wish to save them to. They will be autonamed, and then you can immediately double click them to open that new document in the Editor.
Kind regards,
