Disable Auto Pop-up for Sticky Note?

I use the check-mark Sticky Note when reviewing in order to leave a trail of what I have already checked (similar to how you'd use pen-and-paper). Once aspect I don't like is the automatice Pop-up Note that in most cases I'm not using, and therefore have to click around closing each one before saving. Is there (a) a way to disable to automatic pop-up?, or (b) another tool that is more appropriate?

Hi Seth,

I do not believe there is a way to suppress that. There is such an option for "Text Markup comments":

However Sticky Notes need content in them to have much meaning.

It sounds to me that you might like to instead download and install the "Checks and Marks" stamp collection: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/stamp-collections Drop the PDF in the archive into %appdata%\Tracker Software\PDFXEditor\3.0\Stamps for use by just you, or %ProgramFiles%\Tracker Software\PDF Editor\Stamps for all users on your machine. Yo may need to create the "Stamps" sub folder if it doesn't exist.

You will then be able to apply check marks as Stamps and not have any associated text popups.:
