Hi
recently I've dowloaded pdfxchange.
I need to edit pdf files. actually need to annotate and comment.
I would like to copy one comment\annotation from one pdf file and paste it to another pdf file.
my problem is that copy\paste of comment\annotations are pasted "in place".
(i.e. for example if I copy an annotation placed at the top of a page in say "source.pdf" so the pasting postion of the annotation in "destination.pdf" is also at the top of a page.)
but I would like to paste the copied annotations\comments near the current cursor position.
can it be done?
thanks

Hi Nivkush,
welcome to the Tracker Forums.
You should be able to simply select the location on the document where you want to paste the comments with a right click:
Are you seeing something different? CTRV+V will place it in the matching location as it was copied from, but the right click should place it as the cursor.

Re: how to paste annotations at the postion of the cursor
I'm having the same issue.
Version 9.4 build 362.0
When I paste something, it doesn't paste to the position of the cursor. It seems to paste it at the position where it was on the page where it was copied from. Then I have to move it where I want.
I'd like it to paste it to the position of the cursor. I've tried ctrl-v, right click paste.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: how to paste annotations at the postion of the cursor
Hi Chuck
the first thing to do is update the software to the current build and check the behaviour. We cannot change your older version, and it should be fixed in the current.
Can you do that? Help then Check for Updates is a simple way to do this.
In the current version there is an option in the Preferences for this:
I am keen to hear if that helps.
