Sorry, I'm not an windows expert, but I would like to have an icon in the pdf files but after downloading the portable version and choosing that all pdf files will be open with PDF-XC the icon for all "*.pdf" files have disappeared. Is there any way to "link" the *.pdf files with the PDF-XC's icon ?.
By the way, your product is 99,9% perfect.
Greetings from Spain.

Thanks for the kind words
In Windows Explorer - and locate any PDF file and right click - > Select 'Open With' -> Choose Program -> Highlight PDF-XChange Viewer (or if not Known browse to lcoate the install folder and select the PDF-XChange Installation exe) then also ensure you also check "Always use Selected program ...."
Although - In PDF-Xchange Viewer 'Edit Menu -> Preferences -> File Asscociations - "Make PDF-XChange ..... " should achive the same result.

Thank you, but the first option has been already done just after the download in order to associate the file extension *.pdf with PDF-XC and after was I found (really not found) that the icon for *.pdf has disappered.
Second, terrible sorry but I was unable to found the the "FILE Association" menu or option in Preferences. I'm using the version 1.0 (build 0034) portable version.
I'm very sorry for this basic question.

Portable version does not store anything in PC registry, so it is impossible to display PDF in browser or make file associations using it. Becuase of this "File Asscociations" tab was removed from settings in portable version.
However you may make associations manually, using Windows explorer. Just open Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types tab, and there create/modify existing settings for PDF extension. Or just right click on any pdf file, select Open With -> Choose Program..., select PDF-Xchange Viewer ant check checkbox "Always use selected program ...". But doing this you should fix PDF-Xchange Viewer location, otherwis associations will not work when you move it.
