Can't Select for Clipboard Copy after Highlight

After I highlight a section in a pdf I can not find a way to then select all or part of that highlighted section to copy to the clipboard.

I could just be doing it wrong - please advise.

You're not doing anything wrong. It is usually hard to select within a highlighted area because selection is needed to delete the highlight.

Try selecting more than the highlighted text.
