Hi,
I tried Enhance scans, to auto rotate a pdf that was scanned in the wrong direction, but didn't work.
i have to rotate it manually
is there a way to make a scanned document auto rotate if it scanned in a wrong direction.
I am using PDF-XChange Editor Plus v9.2 build 359.0 (Enhanced OCR)
thank you

Hello Noureddine Saidani,
Welcome to our Forum.
Unfortunately, there is no automatic way of rotating the content.
You can rotate the content manually from this menu:

Re: Auto-rotate scanned documents to correct the page orientation
Hello, Noureddine Saidani
As documents could have multiple varying text orientations, and multiple content types, we do not currently have any plans to offer an auto-rotate feature like this. It has been brought up many times in the past, but it simply is not feasible to offer a stable and safe "catch all" solution for automating this task.
Kind regards,

Re: Auto-rotate scanned documents to correct the page orientation
I realise I'm resurrecting an old post but is this really too difficult to implement?
Even if it worked for the majority of pages, it would save a lot of time for large documents.
Acrobat can already do it as part of their Enhance PDF tool.
And since PDFXchange can already OCR sideways text, surely if shouldn't be too difficult to internally flag that page as landscape then automatically rotate it if requested?
EDIT: Apologies, it appears PDFXChange Editor can do this by ensuring the "Detect incorrect page rotation" and "Fix content skew and incorrect page rotation" boxes are checked:
