Centering print using AutoCAD

Post by BDinger »

I am so far unable to get PDF XChange V4 to center a print in 8 1/2 X 11 format. I also have a inkjet printer and a plotter and, using those drivers, I have no problems as regards this issue. I have experimented with the paper setting options in PDF XChange but cannot find the right combination. Obviously, I need a set and forget it mode so that I can control the centering, landscape or portrait mode and other printing parameters from within AutoCAD. In additon, what AutoCAD calls Landscape, PDF XChange sees as Portrait and the reverse is true - when you choose Portrait in AutoCAD, PDF XChange sees it as Landscape. One of them usually will center but not both. My AutoCAD version is 2006.

Can you help?

Please explain more what you mean "center a print on 8 1/2 X 11" ?

About orientation: PDF-XChange treats Portrait and Landscape as all other printers, and I cannot imagin while AutoCAD toggle this option.
