Closing a form

Post by KDROSSMAN »

Is there a way to close a form (JavaScript or otherwise) that will not ask if you want to save the changes to the form. (I don't want them to be able to save any changes). I can do this in Adobe but the same JavaScript does not seem to work here.

Hi,

Assuming you are not discussing attributes applied during the Forms initial creation - but after the event when viewed by the Viewer - then no, you must confirm the changes should/should not be saved from the Viewer.

Bear in mind the only changes that can be saved are forms entry field values - not changes to the actual form construction.

If I have misunderstood - please post an example with a little more detail.

thanks
If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.
