Can I sign a document without using any restrictions?
I am trying to sign a contract that requires another party to sign and print, but I notice after signing, the edit tool becomes greyed out and there is no way to edit the existing text fields. This is impractical for anyone that has to send a signed document into another party that has to sign (and edit fields to add their printed name) to the document.

Hello, dsfdsfdvcsfref
It is not possible to place a digital signature without any restrictions, but you can place a "signature stamp" by using the "signatures and initials" tools on the Protect tab: These, when placed, are flattened into base content, but otherwise do not apply security automatically. It does have the caveat that you are placing an image of your signature in the document, and others editing the file could move/manipulate, or even copy that image.
Kind regards,

That was exactly what I was looking for. A lightweight way to add a signature to a document, without locking it out for my client to edit. Since I always keep my saved copy of my documents, this won't pose a problem for me.
One more question, can the ribbon be customized like in office?

An even "lighter"way is to just use the Pencil tool. This produces an image of what you scrawl that can be moved, re-sized, etc., but is not very secure. You can flatten it onto the document image which helps a little. This is acceptable to some in some circumstances where a high degree of security integrity is not required. It helps if you use a tablet (as I do) to create the signature and I do this "all the time."
