PDF X-Change Editor Pro Version 9.4 Build 363.0
Windows 10 Pro Build 19044 64-Bit all current updates installed
All-in-One Canon G7020 configured as a network device.
For years I was able to easily scan to pdf from within XChange Editor under New Document, From Scanner, etc.
Now it just sits saying "Preparing to Scan" and does nothing further. No messages or changes on scanner/printer.
Oddly, I still can scan to pdf from the default Canon Windows application.
However, this is a pain because I then need to save the scanned document and then re-open within Xchange Editor in order to make all modifications and changes.
I've tried the obvious (restart computer, printer and network router) with no success or changes.
Any suggestions?
Can no longer create pdf scan from All-in-One

OP again.
The Canon G7020 can print just fine. It only has issues with scanning to pdf.

Hello, sparkyguy
The first suggestion i have here is to ensure you have the latest version of the device specific drivers for your printer/scanner device, obtained directly from the manufacturer website. In some cases, universal drivers can contain some small issues with specific devices, and these are often what windows installs automatically when you connect a printer.
If you are certain that you have the latest device specific drivers, and this issue is still present, please confirm that you have tried using both the TWAIN and WIA driver options for the device when scanning.
If that also does not work, please let me know and I will speak to our Dev team about what else may be happening.
Kind regards,
