Assign zoom in/out instead of scroll up/down to mouse wheel?

When I currently use the mouse wheel the pdf document is scrolled up or down.

How can I assign zoom in or out function to mouse wheel instead?

Scroll up/down is the default behavior when using the mouse wheel.

For zoom in/out, press the CTRL-key while turning the wheel.

You cannot.

You have to use the Ctrl button method to do that.
