Is there an option to edit the caption at the distances? Like fill color, line color and text color? As well as opacity and blend mode.

Welcome to our forums.
You can change the caption text properties of a distance object from the pop up window that will be shown when you double click the caption. Just select the text from this pop up, click on the Format tab and set your desired properties.
You can do regular text format there, but you cannot change the blend mode and the opacity - these are set globally for the entire distance object (from the Format tab while the distance object is selected).
