Using "PDF-Templates" for new files?

Post by Peter2 »

Everybody knows the Templates in e.g. Office or CAD - software:

Code: Select all

- File "new"
- Select template
- a copy from template is created and named "my_new_file1"
It is possible to use this feature / this workflow also in PDF(Xchange)?
The idea is to offer different templates which contains different forms, and when I need a form I would use a "template".

The current way to "open" the (read-only) form and to save it with another name is possible too, but the "template mode" would be more secure and more comfortable.

So is there a way for "templates"?

HI Peter,

I am afraid we do not have a template model, no. What you suggest with a collection of files and Save As is the best I can offer you in this regard.

sorry
Best regards
