I have PDF-XChange Editor Plus, Version 9.3, Build 361.0
I want to be able to save a fillable PDF form as a non-fillable one while preserving all content that I have already entered. For example, say, your PDF form asks you to manually enter your name and current date. After I enter them, save PDF, close and reopen it, I can still change both of these fields. I want to be able to save a copy of this PDF that has all the fields I have entered, but no longer allows me to change them. Does anyone know how to do it?
How to save a read-only copy of pdf file

Hi pdfman,
if you add document security you can include options to not be able to fill the form fields:
See the sample. I think this is what you want?
This KB details how to add document protection, it can be a password or a digital certificate:

I hope that helps, let me know how it works out for you?
