I have a properly licensed version of PDF-Tools. The license information carries over into PDF-Viewer when it operates in stand-alone mode and the Preferences - Registration dialogue shows the license information.
However, when I set up PDF-Viewer as the default pdf viewer so that it operates as the pdf viewer within my web browser all pdf files show the Docu-Track Demo water mark. It appears that the web browser plugin is failing to pick up the license information and thinks that it is operating in demo mode. What should I do to correct this behaviour?
Demo watermark shows in licensed version of PDF-Viewer

Please advise what browser and version you are using ?
IE for example seems to be fine.

It would appear that if you run the browser in this manner once and specifically enter the serial number (copy/paste) once - the next time it is used it will automatically then have stored the serial number correctly in the required location for that browser.
we will resolve for automated use in the next release.

I was (am) using Safari 3.1 for Windows. This opens PDF-Viewer to display the pdf file within the browser window, though this is a new window rather than the original one. After testing, I have founded that the problem does not occur in either Internet Explorer Version 7 or Firefox Version 2.0.12, though in both cases the files are opened in separate windows.
In Safari I am unable to work out how I should follow the copy/paste instruction given in the second reply, since there is no obvious or less obvious way of accessing the Preferences dialogue when PDF-Viewer displays the pdf file.
Since Safari for Windows is relatively new, it is likely that you have not tested the behaviour of PDF-Viewer with it very thoroughly. However, it is quite fast and I like it because I use Macs as well as Windows PCs.

You may find that you need to left click on the PDF first to give focus to the plugin. In Opera too, Control K doesn't work (and neither do the other shortcuts) when you first load a PDF file since Opera still has focus. Control T will open a new tab, for example, until you click on the PDF, then it will open the Thumbnails panel.
