feature request

Post by kaidovh »

My work with pdf files would become faster if there were buttons that open next and previous file in directory, closing the currently opened file in the same time.
It would be even greater, if the left pane could be used in addition to present options as pdf file manager, showing directory tree and pdf files in the opened folder, analogously to the left pane in windows explorer.
If pdf file is selected, only first page of it could be shown (to speed up the function) and if user wants (e.g. goes to the next page), the complete file is loaded.
This feature would speed up scanning through a large amount of pdf files. At moment, it is possible to see the first page in the file open dialogue, but this is too small to be readable and recognizable.

The preview can be made bigger by resizing the open file dialogue vertically. The preview pane can also be resized horizontally if you have landscape PDF files.

indeed! I tried to resize the preview window itself with no remarkable success :D
Ok, I skip the suggestion about this- but the next-previous file feature-wish remains still active
