Customizable Hotkeys

Post by CovenStine »

Hello,
I'm not sure if I'm missing something or misremembering, but is there no way to customize/add/delete hotkeys for the available tools?
E.g., for those of us with high-res monitors, a quick key for the loupe (like L, it seems undefined) would be super handy... and being able to set hotkeys yourself would be awesome. Say you never use the typewriter, why waste the T hotkey

Maybe I'm confusing this with BlueBeam or another package I've used along the way.
Thanks!

Hi CovenStine,

welcome to the Tracker forums.

The PDF-XChange Editor UI is highly customizable, you can set pretty much whatever key binding you want for the various tools. Just right click on an empty portion of any toolbar and select "Customize Toolbars":

This KB has details: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowle ... nge-Editor
The existing shortcuts are detailed here: https://help.pdf-xchange.com/pdfxe ... ts_ed.html

I hope that helps.
