Hi
I have had an important construction standard with a lot of bookmarks and notes. Today opened it and it's content was changed to a photo that I have made like 10 years ago. Single photo instead of a 200 pages standard. Have no idea how that may happen, but have a theory. Seems to me someone from my kids drag and drop the image into the file and exchanged all the content by the image while the file was opened. Is it possible in X-changer? Because every single bookmark is lost, but name of the file is exactly like it was.
If my theory is correct, is it possible somehow to restore the file?
Best regards
Restore file

Re: Restore file
Hello user277418,
Welcome to our Forum.
If you drag a photo into a document, our PDF Editor opens a new tab.
It doesn't insert the image directly into the document.
If the file has been edited in our PDF editor, it usually saves a temporary copy in this folder, but only for a certain period of time:
C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Local\Temp\PDFXEdit
You may also try to enable the recovery console and see if there is a copy of the file there:
Regards.
