1) Is it possible to add tooltip function to sticky notes, like it is in acrobat?
2) The pencil tool is not convenient to use, because when the line is broken, the figure drawn becomes separate object and when the pencil cursor is near to this object, it allows to resize this object, not to continue drawing. This is extremely unconvenient if one wants to use handwriting or draw schemes, arrows etc containing many lines. In my opinion, it will be more useful if the figure drawn becomes a separate object (I mean, that can be resized as a whole) after the pencil tool is unselected. This requires also the possibility to modify the figure in the future. Perhaps smth similar to drawing canvas in MS Office would solve this problem, if supported by pdf format.
3) It was already discussed under other topics, but split window function would be great!
Thank you!

features requests - retaining menu customization - config fi
Hi.
I've just discovered the PDF-XChange Viewer and love it. I'll be buying a Pro version at work and converting others. PDFs are the dominant currency of our trade (science), and getting highlights and notes for free earns our loyalty.
I'm using PDF-XChange Viewer 2.0 (build 39.2), in Linux (Ubuntu), using Wine. As others have reported, my menu customizations are lost. However, they are not lost instantly. For about a minute or so, I can exit and restart Viewer with my changes retained. After that, they are lost permanently.
Is Viewer reading the menu configuration, window position, etc., from a config file? If so, is it possible to specify a configuration file to Viewer on the command line at startup? If Viewer is reading in a config file but this file cannot be specified, how can I determine where it is?
Here's why I'm asking. Wine's user.reg file contains, among others, a description of the PDF-XChange menu, with entries that look like this:
[Software\\Tracker Software\\PDFViewer\\View\\Bars\\0002] 1221056457
"Name"="File"
"Visible"=dword:00000001
I.e., the second (0002) toolbar is the File menu and it's not grayed out. This user.reg files is rewritten by Wine continuously, and the loss of the customizations seems to coincide with this, so I wonder where Viewer is reading the menu config in the minute or so after I exit and before my customizations are lost.
Thanks!

Re: features requests
Maybe portable version of the viewer will be more userful for you? It strores its configuration not into the registry but into own settings.dat file (by the way, it is impossible to edit this file by hand).

Tooltips for stick notes are now available in build 40.4. No need to open the comments to read them — just mouse over.
