Save as optimized - web links removed

I find my web links are removed How do I adjust the optimization settings?
I'm using PDF-XChange Editor Ver:9.5 build 366.0

Please try turning this off:

Also - the most significant size decrease is usually achieved by image re/compression, so if you want - try with compressing images only and see if the resulting file is sufficiently optimized.

The "Optimize PDF"-dialog-box should appear
1) when you click File > Save as Optimized or
2) when you click File > Save As, Browse, Save as type "Optimized PDF" and then click the Options-button

Does that work for you ?

Hi,

The "Save as Optimized"-option comes from a Plugin called "PDF Optimizer".

So, verify via File > Preferences > Plugins if you find that plugin and make sure that its check-box is turned ON.
If it is turned OFF than turn it ON and restart PDF-XChange Editor.

In case you should not find that plugin, this should mean that it has not been installed.
So, re-install PDF-XChange Editor and make sure that via "Custom" setup" the needed plugin will be installed (or choose for "Complete" installation).

Another possibility is that @carlosmpa is using an older build from before the optimization plug-in becoming available, so a check which version is currently installed and an update will also likely help!

That was it, I had most of plugin disabled. Once checked and restarted, optimization is available.
