Populate Forms - Guess the mapping

Post by Peter2 »

When I want to populate forms with data from a CSV, I try to use "Guess" in the section "Mapping between PDF template and data Source"

The problem for me: The guess seem to be case-sensitive. That's not very handy :-(

So is it a bug or a feature (or a definition which could be handled by a new option)?

Hello Peter2,

It is by design, and this allows you to have higher control over the mapping process. Please make sure that your naming convention is consistent and upper/lower case letters are used in the same manner, and the mapping should work better for you!

Kind regards,
Stefan

No chance for an option: "case-sensitive: yes/no"?

Hello Peter2,

I will ask - but it is not likely!

Kind regards,
Stefan
