moving form-fields exactly vertical/horizontal?

How can I move form-fields (change their position) exactly horizontal or vertical?
The "distance tool" has an "ortho" mode, pressing the shift key: viewtopic.php?p=60342&hilit=ortho#p60342
How to use it for moving forms?

Hello Peter2,

You can click the field(s) once to select them, and then use the arrows, or you can use the Selection -> Transform Selection... menu.
There's no way to move them only horizontally or vertically with the mouse.
