When you zoom in, the guide moves to the left, when you zoom out, the guide moves to the right. I didn't notice any vertical shift.

Re: Guide position depends on page display zoom
Hello Jensen Head,
Does the guide actually move relative to the coordinates displayed on the page?
As in your video it does 'seem' to move - but it's actually the selection rectangle that changes.
At high zoom lelel (6400% for my image below) - the bounding box shown around my red rectangle is going to the left of the guide: But at more "normal" zoom levels it looks differently: In both cases the rectangle is snapped to the guide for me - and I've not actually made any changes other than updating the zoom level from 6400 to 150%.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: Guide position depends on page display zoom
I don't know if the guide seems to move relative to the page, or if the bounds of the selected object seem to move relative to the page. But I see that the guide moves relative to the border of the selected object. That's what I wanted to show in the video. This is inconvenient when I need to set the guide exactly on the edge of the object. As a result, the position of the guide will depend on the scale at which I set it.Tracker Supp-Stefan wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 2:47 pmDoes the guide actually move relative to the coordinates displayed on the page?
I guess this is not my case. My guide is not attached to the border of the object (and vice versa).Tracker Supp-Stefan wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 2:47 pmIn both cases the rectangle is snapped to the guide

Re: Guide position depends on page display zoom
Hello, Jensen Head
I cannot seem to reproduce the issue with the guides or object moving, and I am running our nightly testing build for the next release at the moment) On re-reading this topic, I suspect Stefan is correct, the issue is the "bounding box container" which "moves" not the object or the guide. Do note that the object selection/resize bounds are consistent with the placement of the object. The selection box is something which is intended to be dynamic and zoom irrespective, as it is drawn around all selected objects, and needs to be spaced away from those objects to not obfuscate the content within it.
