How do I create a border around a text box?

I have a text box in a document and there are border style and width options under Properties. But there is no border around my box regardless. I looked through the FAQs and the online manual, but I didn't see how to create a visible border around a text box.

Hello Lighthouse_Foundation,

Can you please check whether the border width has been set to 0 pt? This might be the reason why you see no border.
If that is not the issue - can you please share with us a copy of that file so that we can take a look?

I guess it goes about a comment Text Box...

Are you sure that the "Fill color" and the "Stroke color" are different ?

Hello,

Willy is right, you will need to ensure that the border color is unique compared to both the page color and the comments background color.

Ah, yes. Fill color and stroke color were both set to white. So of course I couldn't see the border. Changing it to black creaated the border I was looking for.
