Moving items (comments, images...)

Hi all
Is it possible to move items such as images, comments... but following X or Y-axis only?

Yes, that is possible by using the cursor-keys (Left, Right, Up, Down) on your keyboard.

The steps in which the movement happens can be set via File > Preferences > Measurement > Nudge...

Another way to move objects to specified coordinates is, after selecting the same to use the "Selection -> Transform..." dialogue:

And specify the desired coordinates with direct numerical input:

Willy, Stefan - thanks a lot. Also discovered the hot keys (shift or ctrl/shift) to change the steps - that will help a lot.

Then I realize there is no way to do it by displacing the element with the mouse.
