I have used pdf xchange previous versions for 10 years and have just bought and installed the new version 9.5 build 368.0 of 6 April 2023. Unless I am missing something it seems that "Flatten Comments" does not work. In previous versions "Sticky Note" would flatten into the image. Now, though, the Notes can still be moved. When viewed in other pdf viewers just the icon is visible, which makes things difficult when sharing across multiple users.
This image attached is typical of the Notes that are not flattening in my document.
Am I missing something or is there a problem?
Thanks
Ian

Re: Flatten comments not working
I have built 367 and the only way I can see a sticky note with an open pop-up is if I print with the Advanced Print Options se to Whole Content.

Re: Flatten comments not working
Lev - Thank you for your thoughts.
In earlier versions of PDF exchange flattening would embed the Sticky Notes into the image so that it could be viewed consistently using other pdf readers. In this latest version the Notes seem not to be embedded and just disappear when viewed in a browser, say.
As a work around, I have printed my annotated pdf document using MS Print to PDF and then sharing the output pdf file. This is clumsy, though.

Re: Flatten comments not working
Hello, ian thurston
I cannot seem to find any versions of the Editor in which we offered the ability to flatten popup comments and retain the text within. So far as I can tell, since at least the version 5 release of our software, the only way to accomplish this has been through printing as Lev suggests. Perhaps you were using another software in the past that offered this?
In any case, I will pass the idea along to the dev team to see what they think about offering an option to include popup notes when flattening. I cannot make any promises, but perhaps we could see it in the future.
Kind regards,
