Outlook Convert to PDF button strips symbols from email subject

I created a ticket with support a few months ago, but it seems to have gone stagnant. I don't know what I will accomplish here.

The issue is when you click the PDF-Xchange tab and button in Outlook to convert to PDF, symbols get stripped from the email subject for the filename. These symbols usually matter to us and this causes an extra step when saving emails. The settings for this feature doesn't have any options to keep symbols. For example. + and brackets get stripped.

OK great. This would be nice if it was an option within the settings button for the Outlook add-in whether characters should be stripped or not. I know it seems rather minor, but we have programs/contracts that we support that do or don't have a + in their name and when this gets removed, it causes some trouble. It looks like all symbols get stripped from the Message title when you go to save it as a PDF. Many thanks!

I am not sure it will be offered as an option whether to strip or not, but we are certainly looking into why it is currently removing these symbols from the document name!
