Save comment to stamp (PDF/A): freeze

PDF-XChange Editor Plus v10 build 370: If I try to save a comment to a stamp (PDF/A) the ‘Conversion Report’ window is sometimes blank. The only way to escape is clicking the ‘Peek at desktop’ button (bottom right corner) twice. So far it happens 50 times or more.

Can we have a copy of your test file please?
Also - what is the exact command you use to create the second document from the stamp in the first? It's not obvious in your video.

I obviously wasn’t clear. Forget the stamp part. I’ll try again:

I used your manual as a test file: https://downloads.pdf-xchange.com/PDFXED9C_MAN.pdf

I made a comment with the Typewriter Tool, selected it and choose Edit -> New Document from Selection.

I saved (or try to save) the new document as PDF/A. File -> Save As... -> Save as type: PDF/A Document (*.pdf).

In 6 out of 10 times a blank window appears, as in the video.

I also got the Editor hanging on my second attempt at what you described. I have taken the required memory dump and passed it on to the development team. As soon as we have something to say I will pass it on here.

Hi Joxon.

We will fix that issue in the new upcoming build. Currently you may use the temp. workaround: on a first attempt - just hit the Esc key, and it will close that broken report-dialog. And on the next attempt - that dialog will display properly. Sorry for the inconvenience.
