Form Fields do not Accept Typed-in Content

Post by kstuart »

I am using the PDF-XChange Viewer Portable to fill in a PDF (with no security restrictions) that has form fields. When I try to type content into certain fields that have drop-down lists, the field will not accept typed-in content. (Just for contrast, Adobe Reader *does* allow content to be typed into such fields, and I do need that functionality.) Is this a flaw in the software, is there a setting I need to change, or some sort of workaround?

Thanks!

Certainly. The fields that are particularly problematic are the Contracts fields, the Merits fields, and the Kith fields.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Thanks - we will investigate and would hope to resolve in Build 37 which we are beta testing over the next few days ready for release soon.

Just an update: I have downloaded Build 37 to test it, and the behavior remains the same.

Thanks for your attention!
