PDF-XChange is running slowly and because of PDF office add-in office applications are working slowly.

PDF-XChange running slowly – sometimes taking minutes to load a PDF.
Since it loads as a plug-in for Office, it is slowing Office application startup times also

• Checked windows update, all are up to date.
  PDF version is same as across the environment
  No errors while accessing the PDF application
  No applications are open when try to access the PDF app
  The PDF add-ins are disabled in MS Office apps temporarily

Tried troubleshooting step mentioned in the article :

Users are disabling the PDF-XChange plug-in for Word/Excel/PowerPoint to fix the O365 startup problems.
So, we want to have a permanent fix to this problem.
