Incorrect processing of the Ctrl and Shift keys in the Thumbnails sidebar

In Windows, if it is necessary to select two or more ranges of elements of one list (tabs in the browser, files and folders in Explorer, etc.), it is common to use the following sequence:

• Click on the first element
• Shift+click on the last element of the first range
• Ctrl+click on the first element of the next range
• Ctrl+shift+click on the last element of the next range
• ...

This does not work for thumbnail range selections in the PDF-XChange Editor sidebar.

Thank you for the excellent suggestion, I have passed this along to the Dev team and the request has ben accepted. I cannot say when this will be implemented, but the team will be working on it when they have the time. For now, the ticket number is as follows:

#6625: FR: Allow windows style multi-group select in Editor.

In this example, it would be most convenient to hold down Ctrl and drag the cursor seven times from the bottom up with the LMB pressed (and deselect the last page). However, each subsequent selection resets the previous selection.

An alternative method would be to select "even pages only" or "pages without text", but the Select pages dialog only offers the following options:

1. Pages with Comments
2. Pages with Links
3. Pages with Form Fields
4. Pages with Text
5. Pages with Images
6. Pages with Path Items
7. Pages with Search Results
8. Empty Pages (this is not the same as "Pages without Text")
9. Pages that are Bookmark Targets
10. Pages that are Link Targets

Upd. An alternative method in this case is to use "Pages with Text" and "Invert Selection".
