How to insert multiple pages from different PDF files at once?
I frequently open a PDF with several pages.
Then I need to insert multiple pages from several different PDF files into the same document.
As far as I can see, I can only insert pages from one pdf file at a time.

Hello JohnW,
Welcome to our forums!
If you need to insert the whole other documents - you can e.g. select more than one file in Windows Explorer, and then drag and drop those files over the thumbnails pane of the Editor. That would allow you to add them all somewhere in the middle of your target file.
Another alternative would be the File -> New Document -> Combine Files... However here you will add the files one after the other and can not e.g. insert files 2 and 3 in the middle of file 1.
And a third alternative would be our PDF Tools - which has features similar to the Combine Files in the Editor.
Kind regards,
Stefan

If you know which pages by their numbers from the source document, you can use the Combine Files tool but in such a way as to not have to combine the files in their entirties. After you have selected the files that are to be combined, you can use the Page Range tab in the Combine Files pop-up menu to specify exactly which pages you want to be in the new document by Selecting "Custom" for the page range and entering the respective page numbers. That will cherry-pick all your selected pages for the new document.
But dragging and dropping pages is probably easier. I would open all the source files and then go through the tabs of the open documents with the thumbnails panel open, selected the desired pages therein, using the control key for multiple pages, and then dragging and dropping those pages into the target document thumbnails panel, repeating for each tabbed document until complete. It probably makes the task easier if all the source documents are in one tab group and the target document in another.

And an even better way would be use the Extract Pages tool to pull the pages you want into new temporary holding files which can then be combined with the target file using the Combine Files tool.

Re: How to insert multiple pages from different PDF files at once?
Thanks for the suggestions folks.
Perhaps should have mentioned that I already use a variety of Combine Files, Replace Files, Extract Files and drag and drop. Whatever suits my workflow at the time.
I was hoping to Insert Pages > multiple PDFs for specific use cases. I use this in other software.
I'm working at a new company using a locked down laptop so other software is not an option. I work with what I've got.
What I'm hearing is that Insert Pages > multiple PDFs is not possible. Can only be done one PDF at a time. So I'll use a combo of the other methods.
Thanks for your input.
