Re: Crashes in Firefox since V2.0037
Hi,
I'm new to this forum.
I just changed my PDF viewer from Adobe Reader to PDF-XChange Viewer today since it hogged my PC's memory.
And also due to the description mentioning it has plugins for all Mozzila and IE browsers.
I'm using Mozilla Firefox v2.0.0.14.
I'm an avid reader of online newspaper, http://www.sun2surf.com.
At first, I can view the it without any problem. Hmm.. seems promising.
However, after opening several pages, Firefox suddenly crashed.
After restarting Firefox and opening the page, it seems to be ok until it crashed again.
I'm using the current version of PDF-XChange (v2.0.37.1.).
Much worst
, I can't seems to open the pages when using IE.
Can somebody advise me on this matter?
If not then sadly I need to revert back to Adobe Reader
.
Thanks in advance

Re: Crashes in Firefox since V2.0037
Hi,
I've retried several time and every time Firefox crashed.
The good news is at least I was able to read the first page of the newspaper.
It seems it will take some time to be rectified.
I guess I need to revert back to Adobe Reader to read the paper
.
Anyway, keep up the good work to make PDF-XChange a worthy competitor to Adobe Reader.

Re: Crashes in Firefox since V2.0037
Thanks a million
Anyway, I've test it and it seems ok. But after browsing several pages, Firefox crashed again.
I need to check first whether it is due to other factor.

Ok Thanks,
if you do have further problems - please use the option in the Viewer itself -:
Help -> Report a Problem
as this provides more file and system specific info that will help us to hopefully trace the cause - pleasse do attach any file that causes the issue.
thanks

Re: Crashes in Firefox since V2.0037
Hi,
I can't seems to isolate the problem.
However, I noticed that when there's a blip in my network connection, the problem tend to happen.
To go around this problem, I installed Opera and there's no problem at all
Only that, going to the next pages, it will show blank (not the whole page, only the news page section).
After clicking on it then the page is shown. Funny
The most puzzling thing, IE 6.0.2900.2180 can't even show the page.
Not that I care since I sparsely use it
