I have a document containing an interactive form, which was originally created using Acrobat. If I open this document in PDF-XChange Viewer (build 37.2) I can use the form and it works fine. However, if I start with another document and then use the Insert Pages command to add the document containing the form, the form fields don't appear and I can't interact with it.
Is this a fixable problem? I have attached a Zip file containing the form document in question.
Thanks.

Re: Problem with form document as inserted page
Hi, In the current build extracting/inserting page doesn't handle form fields.
We will try and add this functionlaity in a coming build.

Re: Problem with form document as inserted page
Is there any information about whether this ability will be included in build 40 or build 41?
As a work-around for this limitation, my application swaps the names of the main file being edited and the file to be inserted, using a temporary file to enable the swap. After performing the insert, if my application tries to delete the temporary file, an error is generated saying that the file cannot be deleted because it is still in use. In other words, after a call to doc.insertPages(), the file indicated by the cPath parameter does not seem to be released by the PDF Viewer. Can this be fixed? ... [edit: I just realized I need to ask about this on the SDK forum.]
Thanks for looking into this issue, and also for all the work you do to improve the product and respond to our requests and bug reports.

Re: Problem with form document as inserted page
Hi,
Maybe this isn't a good time to ask this question, since you are in the middle of a release cycle. However, I thought perhaps I should ask now, or I will forget again.
I realize this is probably a low priority task (ability to insert a form into an existing document and have the form elements preserved), as I expect not too many users are clamoring for this. However, I was wondering if you think it likely this will ever be implemented.
Thanks.

Hi,
we are hoping to add this in the build 42 cycle - its definately on the 'near' rather than distant features to be included list...
HTH
