Combine Files - Preview

It's a feature request.

Feature description
Add a preview in Combine Files feature which syncs when moving file up or down and when tweaking Page Range Setup

Why ? User scenario
It will give a better user experience over files pages ordering.

Hi,

I checked Adobe Acrobat combine files feature and it displays files thumbnails which also gives a great user experience over files pages ordering.

So instead of the syncing preview requested in the initial post, files thumbnails sounds more reasonable.

It will also give a better drag and drop action (to reorder files) touch experience as the text padding will be larger due to the thumbnail size.

I see the utility of the suggestion and I support it.

I just wonder if, alternatively, the selection could be made from a File Explorer window where users have the option of how they want files displayed.

That would take away much of the functionality we offer in our dialogue here, also if you simply wish to see the preview before selecting the file, than clicking the on "add files" button does open the file explorer browse window, allowing you to use any preview handler you have installed like normal.

This request is focused on our own combine files dialog, and could certainly be expanded. Hopefully the Dev team sees the merit here as well, no matter which way they choose to show it.

Perhaps I should have emphasized the word "alternatively" as a way to achieve the desired performance as proposed in the thread.

I was in no way suggesting a retreat from the already terrific functionality that Combine Files offers.
