Cannot remove demo stamp

I just bought the pro version of PDF X-Change Viewer. I removed the free trial version, installed the very latest Version 2.0 (Build 37.2), inserted the registration code via copy/paste. Result: in the navigation bar under “document” those little icons showing that certain functions were only available in the pro version were removed. However the demo stamps continue to appear when a new pdf document is created.
I already uninstalled and reinstalled a second time, never typing the registration code, always copying and pasting it. No change.
I am using the Viewer Pro in combination with PDF X-Change 4 Pro on a Windows XP SP3 machine.

Hope you had enter registration key onto Registration page of Viewer's Preferences ?

I made a typo during the installation of Xchange Pro 4 (not of the viewer).
