The 'Find Options' or 'Search Options' are really needed

Post by kitesfree »

When will this 'find options' function be available ?

This is definitely important for a PDF reader.

This function button is still gray and unavailable.

They work just fine here - please make sure you have the latest build (Help -> Check for Updates) and also that you are not trying to search an image based PDF (e.g. one thats been scanned to PDF) as there is no text to search in such a file.

Hope that helps
If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.

I have the latest build, but the options are greyed out in both the find toolbar and the Search panel.

What I mean is the 'Find options' is unavailble not the 'Find' function itself. The 'Find Options' means something like 'Whold words only' or/and 'Case Sensitive'. And the version I used is 2.0 (Build 38.1) (Jun 28 2008; 19:38:44) which I think is the latest one.

Thanks.
